Personality: Having taken after the aggressive natures of both of her parents, Starla is a spitfire, but by no means is she mean-spirited. As a hatchling, she was quite the handful for her inexperienced handler, but the two have since forged a strong bond. Other riders still need to beware her rowdy attitude, but she's much more mature, and less childlike in her fits of anger. She knows she's tough, and isn't afraid to show it. 

The three scars on the back of her neck are the result of a massive strike by Bones the Bloody; the one across her chest was gained when she was younger, in the fight against Marrow the Murderess.
