For reasons not quite understood, Joaquín has learned to say, in human language, the phrase "¿qué onda perros?" (Mexican Spanish for "what's up dogs?"). Joaquín screams this often. Always expect an interruption to your conversation and a loud "¿QUÉ ONDA PERROS?" when he is around.
