Amir is a surprisingly gentle soul, who prefers natural surroundings over man-made villages. He enjoys most company, and is often nicknamed Abba (Father/ Papa) by his rider, due to his fatherly habits of preening her and chirping or clicking in greeting whenever she comes to see him. This nickname goes further than his habits however, coming so far as to be attached to his very personality, for not only has he attained fatherly habits of 'looking after' his rider, he becomes rather protective of her too, always eager to stand between her and anything he deems a threat.
